Lions in Blue & Gray

Presented by the Horry County Museum, Lions in Blue & Gray is a locally produced film that tells the story of generals Joshua Chamberlain and Stonewall Jackson.

As Colonel of the 20th Maine Infantry, Chamberlain is credited by many as saving the battle of Gettysburg for the Union Army through his defense of Little Round Top. Stonewall Jackson was renowned as a southern military genius and was known as General Robert E. Lee’s “right arm” before his death following the battle of Chancellorsville.
