Ireland: The Birth of a Nation

The Joseph McGarry Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Horry County Museum will host a program commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Easter Rising in 1916. Professor Phillip Whalen of Coastal Carolina University will speak about this historic event in the on-going fight for Irish freedom.

Following the presentation will be a half-hour film, Ireland: The Birth of a Nation.

The program begins at 10:00 am on April 16, 2016 in the McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC. This event is free and open to the public.
