Presented by the Conway-Horry County Planning Committee the 36^th Annual Commemoration of the life and humanitarian efforts of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be held January 15 through 18. The weekend celebration will take place at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1111 Grainger Road in Conway.

Visiting speakers include SC House of Representatives for District 59, The Honorable Terry Alexander and Motivational Speaker, Lawrence “Lyfe” Dean.

January 15 - Youth Out Loud Rally also, essay, art, and poetry contests will be announced.

January 16 - An event honoring the Emanuel 9 will also take place to close the weekend of celebrations.
