2017 Ag + Art Tour of Horry County

In collaboration with Clemson Extension, local farmers, artisans, and musicians, CREATE! Conway and Conway Cultural Development are proud to bring the Ag + Art Tour to Horry County for 2017. The Ag + Art Tour will be held on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4, 2016. It's a free, self-guided tour of designated farms in Horry County featuring local artisans and farmer's markets.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand where your food comes from, watch artists in action and purchase their works, dance to the melodies of bluegrass and folk songs, and learn more about rural life.

The Ag + Art Tour will…

    • Stimulate creative-based economic development (both directly through on-site purchases and indirectly through supportive business purchases).
    • Foster the creation of a new agritourism community by bringing together stakeholders in a meaningful, sustainable way.
    • Provide a venue for public service education, helping consumers connect with producers.

The Tour is a special opportunity to see how your food comes to market and learn about the creative community in rural Horry County. Contact our Ag + Art Tour team members below and be a part of bringing the Ag + Art Tour to Conway and Horry County.

Live Oak Art & Music Fest

Presented by CREATE! Conway  October is Arts & Humanities Month and CREATE! Conway kicks off the month with a community celebration of creativity. The Live Oak is a fun, family art event presented under the oaks and on the lawn of the Horry County Courthouse.

Shop the Artisan Market for fine arts & crafts and the Farmers Market for fresh fruits, veggies, and homemade goodness. Let the kids have fun while making art at the Kids CREATE! Maker Zone. Bring a chair and enjoy a day of music. Coolers welcome.

The 12th Annual Live Oak Art & Music Fest is hosted by Create! Conway, a non-profit community art promotion and art education organization. We celebrate creativity and community at the Live Oak by showcasing local artists and musicians and promoting public participation in the arts.

The Live Oak is held in conjunction with the Conway Farmer's Market and Conway's Fall Festival so there are many activities throughout the day in historic downtown Conway.

Thank you Horry County Government, the City of Conway and our members and volunteers for their generous support of the Live Oak Art & Music Festival.
